Malletts Creek originates in the Northeast portion of Milton at Malletts Pond. The Creek flows west toward the center of Milton, winding down gently between the Colchester-Milton line.  In the southeastern part of Milton, it flows into Malletts Creek Marsh, an important wetland.
Development has been significant in this area, impacting the Creek and its tributaries.

All of the data collected by Chittenden County Stream Team volunteers is shared with the State of Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation (VT DEC). The DEC shares all state-wide data with the Environmental Protection Agency.
